Haere mai is the reo pōwhiri at the marae. At this point in te pā whenua, you should have gathered all the information you need, and you should be ready to file an application with the Court.

Like on the marae, haere mai is the reo pōwhiri / karanga.  The purpose of the manuhiri visit to the marae is acknowledged and you are welcomed and connected.

At this point in te pā whenua, you will be ready to file an application with the Court. Once you have filed your application with us, we will take care of your information and support you to understand the process from here.

    You can submit an application online through Pātaka Whenua, in person, by email, or through the post.

  • Ngā puka tono Application forms

    You can submit your application online in Pātaka Whenua. You can download and edit these PDF forms for the Māori Land Court and the Māori Appellate Court applications and email or mail them to us.

  • Ngā utu tono Application fees

    Before your application can be processed, you will need to pay the application fee. Fees vary across applications. Application fees are set out in the Māori Land Court Fees Regulations 2013.
